Ntcheu Man on the Run after Raping Biological Daughter

Police in Ntcheu are searching for a man who raped his 16-year-old biological daughter last Tuesday in the district.

Acoording to Hasting Chigalu, who is the Police public relations officer in the district, the suspect raped the girl in his own house while his wife was  away.

“The suspect grabbed the victim by the hand to his bedroom where he sealed her mouth using seal tape before defiling her,” said Chigalu.

The man threatened to kill the girls if she tries to reveal the issue to anyone but the girl could not hold her emotions, she told her mother.

Later, the mother took the girl to Ntcheu District Hospital where the medical report confirmed that the girl was indeed defiled.

This comes a few days after the Senior Resident Magistrate’s court in Ntcheu sentenced a 40-year-old man to 18 years imprisonment with hard labour for raping his 10-year-old biological daughter.

Meanwhile, the police in the district have asked residents to help them in searching for the man.
