Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Director of Elections, Ben Phiri has guaranteed Malawians that the party shall emerge victorious again in the forthcoming 19 May presidential elections.
He was speaking during a political rally at DPP’s Limbuli Constituency Office ground in Mulanje.
“Even if we go to polls tomorrow, be assured that DPP will win again,” said Phiri.
He has advised DPP supporters in Mulanje to register and vote in numbers in upcoming fresh presidential elections
“I am urging you to register once the registration begins and cast your on the polling day,” added Phiri.
The constitutional court nullified the May 21 2019 presidential polls after the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and United Transformation Movement (UTM) lodged a complaint on how the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) handled the polls.
