Internet Service Providers have been asked to consider reducing data charges to allow effective e-learning following coronavirus pandemic.
The call has been made by various heads of schools across the country.
The country’s academic calendar has been affected as schools are closed following President Peter Mutharika’s suspension of various gatherings.
The development has affected most learners especially those scheduled to sit for both national and international examinations this year.
There have been suggestions for e-learning to be adopted by schools.
Critics however insist that exorbitant internet charges could be a limitation.
