‘Its an Honour to Serve in Chakwera Administration’ says Rev. Munthali as He is Appointed Presidential Advisor on Peace, Reconciliation and National Building

Reverend Maurice Munthali has welcomed his appointment as president’s special advisor on peace, reconciliation and national building by His Excellency Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.

According to Munthali who is also Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Spokesperson said it is an honour that he has been appointed on the post and to serve in the Chakwera administration.

“This is not only humbling, it is an honour for me to have to serve under Chakwera’s administration in such a noble portfolio,” said Munthali.

He further added that he accepts the responsibility knowing that the position is not necessarily personal to holder.

“I accept the responsibility my hope and prayer is that we all will be working together as a team for the success of the State President, his (SUPER) Hi-5 vision, the Tonse Philosophy and the overall national agenda,” he added.
