Ntcheu leaders against child marriage


Today in Ntcheu, the chief council is meeting where traditional leaders are banging heads on how to end rising cases of child marriage.

Ntcheu District Social Welfare Officer, Mike Makalande, says, further to this, the district has registered 562 teenage pregnancies in the six months stay-home occasioned by Covid-19.

World Vision has sponsored the meeting where in attendance are End-Child-Marriage- campaign ambassador, Inkosi ya Makhosi Gomani 5, Inkosi Phambala, Ntcheu District Commissioner and police among other stakeholders.
