Chris Thaulo Joins AFORD

Few days after he resigned from the former ruling Democratic Progressive party (DPP), Chris Thaulo has joined Alliance for Democracy (AFORD).

The ceremony of welcoming Thaulo who was also DPP’s Deputy National publicity Secretary into AFORD is underway.

AFORD has of late also welcomed veteran politician Green Mwamondwe, formerly Member of Parliament for Karonga North West

Welcoming Thaulo into the party, AFORD said it is part of restructuring as they are striving of making AFORD great again.

Aftermath of June 23, 2020 fresh presidential elections, members of DPP have been seen dumping the party and joining other parties in the Tonse Alliance mainly AFORD, Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and United Transformation Movement (UTM).
