Police in Phalombe launch manhunt for suspected criminals who broke into the school’s staff room

Police in Phalombe have launched a manhunt to find those who have stolen assorted items at Mwanazanga primary school in Mpasa zone.
Phalombe police publicist, Innocent Moses says the suspected criminals broke into the school’s staff room.
Moses says the stolen items include one sewing machine, 20 plastic buckets (2 0 litres each), 10 cartons of U-fresh soap, 25 bottles of hand sanitizers (250 millilitres each) and 5 Tikwere Radio sets.
He added that the suspected criminals are alleged to have burnt assorted teaching and learning materials to ashes.
Meanwhile, the police have asked communities to help in tracing the criminals.
