Media practitioners under the banner Association for Women in Media (AWOME) are today holding demonstrations in the cities of Lilongwe and Blantyre for quick redress by authorities to increased cases of gender based violence in country.
The match has started in Blantyre where women female journalists under AWOME banner say enough for GBV including rape and defilement cases.
In Lilongwe, politicians, representatives of Civil Society Organisations and male media practitioners have joined the demos.
They will deliver their petition to Blantyre and Lilongwe City Councils.
