Chakwera installed as Chancellor for LUANAR

President Dr Lazarus Chakwera was on Friday installed as Chancellor of Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources ( LUANAR) at a graduation ceremony of students from various disciplines held at Bingu Conference Centre in Lilongwe.

The installation was done according to legal provisions of LUANAR which stipulates that there shall be a Chancellor who shall be the President, Vice Chancellor Professor Kanyama Phiri told the congregation.

Phiri said the Chancellor shall be head of the University who shall preside over all ceremonial congregations and confer all degrees, diplomas and certificates.
