Police in Kasungu are looking for Aubrey Mzuze for allegedly defiling his 13 year old stepdaughter.
Kasungu Police spokesperson Miracle Nkosi confirmed of the development adding that manhunt has been launched for Mzuze who is also a group village headman.
According to Nkosi, Mzuze took advantage of the girl when the mother of the girl was at the hospital looking after other children who were sick.
After defiling the girl, Mzuze is said to have threatened the girl not to tell anyone else he would punish her.
Disregarding the threat posed on her, the young girl gathered courage and told her mother what happened.
Mzuze who is currently on the run hails from Kaphaizi village in the area of Traditional Authority Kaphaizi in the district.
