Lady Caught Living With Parents Corpse After Neighbor’s Complain of Foul Smell

India – A young  woman was found living with the dead bodies of her parents, both doctors, at their residence in North 24 Parganas district’s Baranagar near Kolkata in West Bengal. Police said that the couple must have died a few days ago as the bodies were recovered in a decomposed state.

The daughter of the now-deceased elderly couple is a divorcee. She had been living with them in their apartment in the town’s TN Chatterjee Street for the last few years. Neighbours sensed the stench of the decomposing bodies emanating from the doctor couple’s apartment. Later, a relative of the couple learned about it and informed the police on Sunday. Subsequently, a police team reached the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.

Police said the two deceased, identified as AK Choudhury and S Choudhury, were found lying dead on a bed in the house. They were in their seventies. Neighbours are shocked over the fact that the doctor couple’s daughter had neither informed them nor the police about their demise. They feel that she is mentally ill, according to a report by The Times of India.
