Man dies after drinking Kachasu on an empty stomach

A 39-year-old man has died in Dowa after drinking a locally-distilled gin- Kachasu on an empty stomach
Mponela Police Deputy Spokesperson, Sergent Macpatson Msadala confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying the incident happened at Nambuma Trade Center.
Msadala identified the deceased as Petro Kamanga from M’buta village in the area of Traditional Authority Kayembe in Dowa.
Kamanga was pronounced dead at Kayembe Health Centre.
