TA Kamenyagwaza of Dedza Dies

Traditional Authority (T/A) Kamenyagwaza of Dedza District has died in the early hours of today.

The traditional leader’s right-hand man, Group Village Head Chinyamula, has confirmed the development.

“Traditional Authority Kamenyagwaza, may his soul rest in peace, has died at his residence in Bembeke. He died during the early hours of today,” Chinyamula said.

According to Chinyamula, the leader as complaining of body and throat pains.

Also confirming the sad news, District Commissioner for Dedza Emmanuel Bulukutu said that the death of T/A Kamenyagwaza is a big loss to Dedza District Council.

Postmortem results have revealed that Traditional Authority Kamenyagwaza of Dedza has died of Covid-19.
