W-Twice Bags Massive Support with “Pemphero Mphande”

Blantyre duo, W-Twice has returned with a new promising hit “Pemphero Mphande” which seem to have already won hearts of many fans just a few hours after its release.

The song features the melodic voice of singer Elijah and has been produced by the W-Twice at their Street Rush Records in Blantyre’s Township, Ndirande.

According to them, the new song has been inspired by the now trending social media influencer, Pemphero Mphande who has these recent days been talk of the town in as far as matters of relationships between young people are concerned.

The said influencer has a platform where youths deliver issues they face in relationships in seek for advices.

The song is sang as a person in love asking her/his lover if at all their bond will last strong without some sort of shake-ups that may end up being the topic of discussion on Pemphero Mphande’s page some day.

“Ndakupasa mtima uwupase chikondi/Koma bola zisazathere kwa Pemphero,” goes part of the chorus.

Many have welcomed the comeback of the duo whose last song release was in April, 2020.

Commenting, Nancy Mariah Chingoma, said “Ilibho”.

Tatiana Ireen Gondwe said, “Komatu guys mwayiponyera kwakuya” while Mafunase Nyandeni Jere praised Elijah on the hook saying, “The guy wayimba kumayambiliro is good?
Others felt the first part of the song reminded them of Lucius Banda’s “Esther” song.
Samuel Kay Mfune wrote, “Hook ikumazabwera ngati Soldiers track Esther….nice tune by the way.”
Also, Chancy Odala Lamusi commented, “Sounds like a Lucius Banda song…but then I might be wrong.”
W-twice, Willard and Wilson are twin brothers born from Mr & Mrs Chimombo.
They started practicing music at a tender age of 8 and came to the limelight with the release of “ChekeCheke Thwaa!” in 2013.
They also have to their credit other hits like “Sali Mu Fasho” and “Wadutsa Pompa”
