The Industrial Court in Mzuzu has ordered Limbe Leaf Tobacco Company to compensate 17 out of 25 Workers who were unfairly dismissed from work in 2017.
According to information at hand, in 2016 the company i suspended the said employees on grounds that they failed to meet expected standard performance.
The suspension was followed by a dismissal in 2017 forcing the said workers to file for a lawsuit.
The judge in the case has since ruled in favour of the dismissed workers.
