The parliamentary Public Accounts Committee (PAC) is ready to present its inquiry report on the plunder of Covid-19 response funds in the current sitting of the House.
Massive sums of resources from the K6.2 billion Covid response funds were plundered by public officers and private individuals.
The funds meant for pandemic-related interventions and enterprises were abused through dubious allowances and procurement fraud.
The Chairperson of the committee, Shadreck Namalomba, has since vowed that the committee will not rest until those implicated pays back the money.
