Man On The Run After Pouring Hot Water On Woman Accusing Her Of Hiding His Love

A 21 year old woman has been admitted at Kasungu District Hospital After she was poured hot water by her prospective in-law.

The incident occurred at Kasalika in the area of Senior Chief Kaomba in Kasungu district yesterday.

According to Information at hand, the suspect, Vitumbiko Manda aggressively arrived at his said lover’s place and demanding of her (the victim’s big sister) whereabouts.

When the victim Jane Mkandawire, aged 21, could not say anything he poured hot water on her with an aim of making her reveal her whereabouts.

Currently, Manda is on the run.

Kasungu Police Station spokesperson Edna Mzingwitsa has said the police are still on the matter.

Manda hails from Mzimba district.
