‘Martha was a fine, hardworking and friendly personality’-Kazako

Minister of Information and Communications Technology Gospel Kazako has confirmed the death of State House press officer responsible for Marketing and Special Events Martha Chikuni.

Chikuni died suddenly today from unknown illness at Mwaiwathu Private Hospital in Blantyre.

Writing on his official facebook page Kazako described Martha as a hard worker and a friendly lady.

“It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the demise of Ms. Martha Chikuni who, until her death today, was the State House press officer responsible for Marketing and Special Events.

“I have just been on the phone with her loving father Lucius. Like all of us, he is heartbroken. Martha was a fine, hardworking and friendly personality who had an open heart for all. May her soul rest in eternal peace,” wrote Kazako.

Funeral details are still sketchy at the moment.
