Breaking; Brian Banda Resigns As Chakwera’s Spokesperson

Information reaching Faceofmalawi indicate that President Lazarus Chakwera’s spokesperson Brian Banda has resigned.

Banda has confirmed of the development to the media.

According to Banda he is going to China for a four months scholarship at Peking University.

However, Banda’s resignation is coming at a time there are contradictions of statements regarding the appointment of President Chakwera’s daughter as a diplomat to Brussels in Belgium.

During one of state house weekly briefing, Banda confirmed that Chakwera’s daughter Violet Chakwera is going to be a secretary in Brussels of which the president has refuted during an interview with an international media house.

Meanwhile, state house is expected to unveil new press secretary in due course.
