The Malawi Police Service (MPS) has said that it has instituted investigation into the murder of a person with albinism who was killed in Limbe in the commercial city of Blantyre.
National Police spokes[person James Kadadzera confirmed of the development in a statement seen by this publication.
According to Kadadzera, the deceased who has been identified as Ian Mahamba aged 20, is believed top have been murdered by the unknown people between August 8-13, this year in Kachere Township.
Some of the body parts believed to be of Mahamba were found in Maoni Forest within Kachere Area on August 15.
Kadadzera assured the general public and the relation of the deceased that the Police are close with the investigations to finding finding the suspects.
Mahamba hailed from Makina village in the area of Traditional Authority Juma, Mulanje district.
