The body of Dr. Evelyn Jessica Munlo, a wife to Lovemore Munlo will be laid to rest this coming Wednesday at Chigodi near Kachere Township in Blantyre.
Her husband was laid to rest at the same place two days ago after succumbing to COVID-19.
According to the Munlo’s family, Evelyn died at Mwaiwathu where she was admitted after also testing positive to COVID-19.
“It is with grief and sadness the The Munlo and Khomiliwa Families announce the death of Mrs. Evelyn Jessica Munlo (nee Khomeliwa), who was the wife to retired Chief Justice Lovemore Green Munlo SC and mother to Mwapwesera and Mzee. Mrs. Munlo passed away at Mwaiwathu Private Hospital in Blantyre.
“The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday 25th August 2021 from 11 am at Talimba Farm in Chigodi, off Zomba road,” reads in part the statement.
