Death has been announced of wife to late Aleke Banda (AKB),Mbumba Margaret Banda.
Masankho Banda, AKB’s son said the late Mbumba Banda senior, died of Covid-19 complications at Partners in Hope hospital in Lilongwe.
Masankho said, tentatively, his mother will be buried tomorrow in Chirimba, Blantyre.
The late Mbumba Banda senior was born on October 11, 1939.
“She was a dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother,” Masankho said.
