Agness Jazza has been appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for First Capital Bank Malawi.
Board of First Capital Bank PCl confirmed of the appointment in a statement released on October 19, 2021 seen by this publication.
“The Chairman and Board of First Capital Bank Pcl is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Agnes Jazza as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for First Capital Bank Malawi,” reads in part the statement.
The appointment of Jazza comes at a time the bank is facing backlash from customers with the recent being the missing of money for customers.
The bank also recently fined by CFTC for violating banking rules.
