Two churches robbed by unknown thieves in Lumbadzi

Police in Lumbadzi are hunting for unknown criminals who robbed two different churches and went away with assorted items.

During the night of Saturday October 23, 2021 unidentified criminals broke into the Pentecostal Community Churches of Malawi (P.C.C.M) in Dzoole Village, Traditional Authority Mkukula in Dowa after breaking the church’s window and stealing holy communion and other items such as grass plates, jags, tumblers, wrappers among others.

On Friday 22 October, 2021 it is reported that unknown robbers also broke into Kingdom Gospel Church in Nduwa Village, T/A Chitukula, going away with 27 plastic chairs valued at about K150,000.

Meanwhile, investigations are underway to trace the culprits.

Police in Lumbadzi are urging people to report to nearest police station anyone offering the above mentioned items for sale.
