Protesters ransack Total Filling Station in Lilongwe

Information reaching this publication indicates that angry protesters have ransacked Total Filling Station near Lilongwe hotel.

The development followed teargas fired by the law enforcers at the protesters who were marching against rising cost of living across the country.

According to information at hand, the protesters managed to block into a shop at the filling station and went away with different assorted items.

The protesters also smashed the fuel pump.

Meanwhile no one has been arrested in relation to the incident.
