Inmates serving time for various offenses at Zomba Prison have graduated. They are 27 in total.
The Centre for Human Rights Education, Advice and Assistance (CHREAA) collaborated with DVV International and held the graduation ceremony for the 27 on Saturday, the 26th of November, 2021.
The inmates were learning Vocational skills such as; hair care, carpentry, tailoring, communication and conflict resolution under an Adult Learning and Education in prison project.”
The project aims at improving the livelihoods of inmates when they are integrated back to their respective societies.
