Former United Transformation Movement (UTM) National Youth Director Bon Kalindo has arrived in Mzuzu ahead of the Friday peaceful demonstrations against rising cost of living under the Tonse Alliance of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.
The demonstrations in Mzuzu come barely a week after Kalindo held another demonstration in the capital Lilongwe.
Eerier this week, Kalindo held a meeting with Cabinet Ministers on how best to resolve the concerned raised by the protesters where government bowed down to some of the concerns such as slashing downward the tollgate fees.
Despite the outcome of the meeting, Kalindo has insisted that the Mzuzu demonstrations slated for tomorrow are on.
Meanwhile, Mzuzu City Council has allowed Winiko to hold demonstrations in the city.
