Bon Kalindo arrested over Clement Chiwaya’s killing remarks

Former United Transformation Movement (UTM) National Youth Director Bon Kalindo has been arrested over remarks made in Mangochi during peaceful demonstrations against rising costs of living in the country yesterday.

National Police Spokesperson James Kadadzera has confirmed of the arrest in a statement made available to faceomalwi.

According to Kadadzera, Kalindo has been arrested for publishing false statement regarding the death of Chiway

Kalindo was quoted during the demonstrations saying that former Deputy Speaker Clement Chiwaya did not commit suicide as reported but was rather killed.
