Police have arrested a 32 year old Rodwell Langa for stealing money and a motorcycle in Ntchisi district.
According to Ntchisi Police Public Relations Officer Sergeant Yohane Tasowana, Langa broke into a primary school teacher’s house at Kathete primary school in May last year and went a way with K10,000 cash and a K900,000 worthy King Lion motorcycle.
During his arrest at Malomo trading center on Wednesday, the suspect was in possession of the stolen motorcycle and other items suspected to be unlawfully obtain from others.
Langa will appear before the court soon to answer three charges of Burglary, theft and found in possession of property suspected to be unlawfully obtained which is contrary to section 309, 278 and 329 of the Penal Code respectively.
He hails from Mpofu village, Traditional Authority Chilooko in Ntchisi.
