Police in Limbe are keeping in custody four men who are being suspected to be master minders of a spate of robberies that have been happening along Limbe-Machinjiri road in Blantyre.
The suspects have been identified as Amos John, 22, Cedric Salima, 21, John Mandala, 24, and Rajab John 25.
According to Limbe Police Public Relations Officer, Patric Mussa, the four suspects have been mounting road blocks along the said road, injuring motorists, robbing them off their cash and assorted properties.
The police have also managed to recover some of the stolen properties which have since been returned to the owners.
The four will appear before court soon to answer charge of Robbery offence contrary to Section 301 sub section 2 of the penal code.
