The body of a traffic officer Patricia Chinguwo has been laid to rest at her home village Benjamini ,Traditional Authority (T/A) Kaduku in Mwanza District.
Sergeant Patricia Chinguwo was hit by a toyota sienta vehicle whilst working at a traffic check point along the Mangochi-Liwonde road yesterday.
The driver of the Sienta has been arrested and has been charged with murder.
Mangochi Police Station spokesperson, Amina Tepani Daudi, has confirmed the development in an interview with the press and identified the suspect as Said Malora.
The suspect will appear in court soon.
