4700 Needy Students Apply For Bushiri’s Bursary Scheme

A total of 4700 needy students have applied for the newly unveiled Prophet Shepherd Bushiri’s bursary scheme which is targeting 5 000 underprivileged Malawian students in the country’s secondary schools and universities.

Bushiri’s Public Relations Officer Ephraim Nyondo confirmed of the development in a short statement posted on his official facebook page seen by this publication.

“I urge you all to keep spreading the word about Shepherd Bushiri Bursary.

“So far, we have received over 4700 applications. Let’s get the needy students in school,” wrote Nyondo.

Bushiri unveiled the bursary during a media briefing held on Monday in the capital Lilongwe.

The needy students are applying for the bursary by sending their applications to scholarship@psbministries.org.

The bursary is only open to Malawians aged not more than 27 years.
