Lingadzi Police Recover Stolen Items

Lingadzi Police Station in Lilongwe has recovered stolen items worth K5 million.

Spokesperson for the station, Salome Zgambo says the items were stolen in Area 18, 47 and along the Interchange road.

Among the items include 100 chairs which the suspects pretended to be hiring, with an intention of stealing and reselling them.

She adds the arrested seven suspects were found in Areas of Mtandile and Senti and are expected to answer charges of theft and robbery with violence.
