Hakainde Hichilema in tears over Queen Elizabeth’s death

Zambia President Hakainde Hichilema has expressed shock over the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of United Kingdom.

Queen Elizabeth died on Thursday at the age of 96.

Writing on his official facebook page Hakainde Hichilema said he is deeply shocked with the sudden death of the UK leader.

“We convey our profound regret and express our deep sorrow and sadness, to the people of the United Kingdom, on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Royal family and the people of the United Kingdom during this difficult period. We pray that God comforts them and gives them peace, as they mourn Her Majesty, a wonderful and extraordinary human being,” wrote Hakainde Hichilema.

Meanwhile, Hichilema is the British High Commissioner to sign a condolence book in honour of the Late, Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth.
