UNIMA Students Hold Demos Against Academic Calendar

Information reaching us indicates that students at University of Malawi (UNIMA) formerly known as Chancellor College in Zomba are conducting a peaceful demonstration against the Academic Calendar.

One of the students, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that they are demonstrating to lobby the administration to restructure or amend the current Academic Calendar that they are using.

He added that the Calendar which they are using now is loaded with holidays which will affect academic period at the University. Ufulu fm
