Police in Ntchisi are hunting for an 18 year old Richard Nyongani, who is suspected to have killed his 21 year old wife, Mudatayika Antone.
Ntchisi Police Station Public Relations Officer Yohane Tasowana has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Tasowana , the incident took place during the night of September 7, 2022.
It is alleged that Nyongani stabbed his wife on the neck using a Knife and escaped after committing the offence.
“Postmortem examination conducted by health personnel at Ntchisi District Hospital revealed that death was due to severe loss of blood,” said Tasowana.
Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt.
