Man takes own life after his ex-wife refused to re-marry him

A 35 year old man in Namitete area in the capital Lilongwe has hanged himself to death after his ex-wife refused to re-marry him.
Police in Lilongwe have confirmed of the development in an interview with the press and identified the deceased as Fedson Siliya.
According to police, the deceased on Saturday visited his ex-wife for a dialogue as they were in separation but the ex-wife refused.
This frustrated the deceased who upon return hanged himself to a tree.
The body of the deceased was discovered on Sunday by passers-by.
Siliya hailed from Village headman Kainja, Traditional Authority Kalolo in the capital Lilongwe.
