FCB PUMPS IN MK15 MILLION TOWARDS BEIT CURE FUND RAISING DINNER

As a good cooperate citizen First Capital Bank (FCB) Plc, has made a donation of MK15 million to go towards beit cure children hospital fund raising dinner.

Scheduled for 4th August at amaryllis hotel in Blantyre.

Speaking during the presentation of the symbolic cheque at beit cure premises on Tuesday, 6th June.

FCB head of marketing and communication Twikale Chirwa stated that as the official sponsor for the fund raising dinner and the hospital’s longtime partner.

They thought it wise to assist in fund raising drive, as money raised will be used for conducting procedures for children in need as well as providing 5 meals a day.

In his remarks, beit cure executive director Elly Chemey said that the coming in of FCB as the main sponsor will boost the initiative.

He further called upon the government and other stakeholders to assist in bringing the children to the hospital for treatment as the surgery is for free.

The hospital is optimistic to raise over Mk100 million during the dinner.

Established in the year 2002 beit cure performs over 1.200 surgeries each year for people suffering from treatable disabilities.
