UDF President Lilian Patel Confident in Party’s Return to Power: “we will surprise you.”

United Democratic Front (UDF) President Lilian Patel has vowed to surprise people by leading the party’s comeback into power in 2025.

Speaking at a UDF rally at Masintha Ground in Lilongwe, Patel expressed confidence in the party’s strength saying “we will surprise you.”

She therefore called for transparency and unity within the leadership to build a strong foundation for the upcoming elections.

Meanwhile, party’s immediate past President Atupele Muluzi, who was guest honor at the rally, emphasized the need for problem-solving leaders in Malawi.

He said the country has abundant resources but emphasized the importance of good leadership to harness untapped potential.
