The High Court in Mzuzu has adjourned to Thursday a manslaughter and human trafficking case involving Tadikira Mafubza, a step son to former President Peter Mutharika and seven others.
The adjournment follows a request from one of the accused David Luhanga who asked the court for the adjournment on grounds that his not in good health following an accident he got involved in a couple of days ago.
According to his lawyer, Luhanga had developed fever thus making it difficult for him to fully participate in the proceedings of the day.
Tadikira together with the other seven accused are suspected of having a hand in the death of 30 foreigners who were found buried in a mass grave in Mtangatanga forest in Mzimba.
