Tay Grin Request Fellow Musicians to Embrace Malawian Culture

Malawian hip hop artist Tay Grin has urged fellow musicians in the country to be creative and to consider embracing Malawian Culture when composing their songs saying this will give them a platform to qualify for international competitions.

The development comes after his “TCHA” music video has been considered for Grammy nominations.

The music fraternity in the country has praised Tay Grin, saying “TCHA” consideration is a huge milestone in Malawian music industry.

Renown legendary musician Sir Solder Lucius Banda applauded Tay Grin for his nomination saying this is not a min achievement

“I am proud of you Amfumu Tay grin. Grammy nomination shall never be a min achievement at all. I pray that you get it, “posted Lucius Banda on his official Facebook page.

In April last year, the Nyau King was invited to attend the Grammys which he says was an eye opener for him to know what exactly is required to qualify.
