Former Reserve Bank of Malawi governor Dalitso Kabambe said that the country’s economy has sadly failed to grow for the past 60 years.
Kabambe said he country has only registered a four percent economic growth for the past six decades.
“The country needs a right team in place for economy to resuscitate” said Kabambe.
Kabambe was saying this during a public lecture at Catholic University of Malawi in Chiradzulo where he was delivering a public lecture titled “Paradigm shift in development philosophy of Malawi to industrialize.
He also observed that the country needs bright minds to manage district council instead of only focusing at Capital Hill.
