Two men arrested for robbing guest at Sunbird Capital Hotel

Lingadzi Police Station Lilongwe have arrested two robbers who on three different occasions robbed guest at Sunbird Capital Hotel of laptops and mobile phones.
Police investigations show that the two were, during the day, posing as operators of car wash business which was situated behind Sunbird Capital hotel along Presidential Avenue, opposite Golden Peacock, and in the evening they raided the hotel and robbed some valuable items belonging to guests.
The Suspects are, 22 year old Boniface Laurent from Chagulugulu village T.A Chanza, and Mabvuto Khota, 27, from Kum’bweza village, T.A Mazengera Lilongwe and residents of Kauma Township in the same district.
Boniface and Mabvuto admitted that they committed the crime and will be taken to court to answer a charge of burglary and theft.
