Malawian Man Kills Himself After Wife Denied Him Fourth Round In Bed

A shocking incident has occurred in Mtonga village, Salima, where a 23-year-old man, Lawrence Harry, took his own life by consuming actellic tablets.
The tragic event happened on September 7, 2024, at around 3:00 a.m.
According to the police report, Lawrence’s wife, Suzeni Lawrence (37), reported that her husband had an excessive desire for sexual intercourse, demanding it four times a day.
On the fateful evening of September 6, 2024, Suzeni denied Lawrence’s request for sex, suggesting they wait until dawn.
This rejection apparently led Lawrence to purchase actellic tablets from Kamuzu Road and consume them.
Suzeni found Lawrence in distress and rushed him to Salima District Hospital around midnight.
Despite medical efforts, Lawrence was pronounced dead at 3:00 a.m. on September 7, 2024.
The body is currently at the Salima District Hospital mortuary, awaiting a postmortem examination.
The police have ruled out foul play, and the incident is being treated as a suicide case
