A Nigerian woman has advised men to post any woman they plan to marry online to find out if she has a questionable past, including involvement in prostitution, commonly known as “runs.”
In her post, she claimed that sharing a woman’s picture would help men uncover her true background—whether she is a good woman, someone else’s wife, or a former sex worker.
She further argued that the new generation, particularly Gen Z, is behaving unpredictably, making it crucial for men to verify their partner’s history before marriage.
Her advice comes after she saw a post where a man publicly apologized to another for unknowingly marrying his wife.
“I’m thinking, maybe before you marry a woman, post her on social media platforms to know if she was once a run/hookup/ or maybe she is someone else’s wife. There is a way men look out for each other because these Gen Zs are moving wired. No one is a saint, but there are people you shouldn’t dare put in your house. Just saw a post where a man apologised to a man that he didn’t know the woman was married,” she wrote.
