The Malawi Media Association (MISA) has expressed shock over the passing of Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) journalist Chikondi Phikiso.

In a statement issued today, the association’s chairman, Golden Matonga, said Phikiso, who passed away at Mzuzu Central Hospital, was a respected figure in the journalism community and will be remembered as a trailblazer in the field.

The late Chikondi Phikiso will be laid to rest this week at Area 18 in Lilongwe.
