Ken B Wazakena in Court For Swindling K10 Million Medical Fund

Well-known artist manager Kenford Chipelesa alias Ken B Wazakena has today been taken to court following his arrest yesterday.
According to Chileka Police station spokesperson sergeant Jonathan Phillipo, the accused will appear before Chitserenje First Grade Magistrate Court in Chileka, Blantyre where he is expected to answer to fraud charges.
According to the police, they arrested Ken B Wazakena following a complaint that he failed to surrender an amount of K10 million he was in custody of for an operation of a patient.
“It is believed that he did not redirect the money for the intended purpose, hence, we made the arrest. We have one complaint against him and we are still investigating the matter,” said Phillipo.
Wazakena hails from Suya Village, Traditional Authority Kapeni in Blantyre district.
