President Chakwera To Inspect Construction OF Protea Hotel in Lilongwe

President of the Republic of Malawi Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, is scheduled to inspect the ongoing construction of the Protea Hotel Lilongwe Ryalls at the Lilongwe Golf Club today , 23 April 2025,
According to a press statement signed by Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Ms. Colleen Zambam the president is expected to report his duty from 11:30 this morning.
The Protea Hotel Lilongwe Ryalls, once completed, is expected to bring significant benefits to the city’s tourism landscape by offering world class accommodation and conference facilities.
The project also presents substantial job creation opportunities for Malawians, both during and after construction.
President Chakwera’s visit will allow him to appreciate the progress of the construction first hand and engage with stakeholders involved in the project.
