A small police aircraft crashed into the Gulf of Thailand near Hua Hin Airport on the morning of Friday, April 25, killing all six people on board.

The victims, all police officers including the pilot, were on a test flight preparing for a parachute jump training mission.

The Royal Thai Police confirmed the incident and expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased.
Emergency teams rushed to the crash site, where four officers were found dead at the scene and two others, including the pilot, died later in hospital.

Photos from the scene show wreckage floating in the water, with responders working to retrieve bodies and debris.
The identities of the victims have not yet been released, and the aircraft model remains undisclosed.

National Police Chief General Kittirat Phanphet has travelled to Cha-am to oversee operations and launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.

Eyewitnesses, including fishermen, reported the plane falling into the sea about 100 metres from shore near the Baby Grand Cha-am Resort.
