Fuel Shortages Hit Blantyre as Long Queues Form at Petrol Stations

Information  reaching us indicates that long queues of vehicles have begun to form at some petrol stations in Blantyre, following fuel shortages that have been reported in various parts of the country over the past several days.

This follows another concerning situation in Mchinji, where the district has gone three consecutive days without fuel at filling stations.

Motorists have been forced to resort to the black market, where prices are significantly higher.

Meanwhile, officials are yet to comment on the matter.
